Ripples #1170: Kindheartedness
Oct 25, 2021
When you find yourself in need of spiritual nourishment, it is in the opportunities to serve others that you will find the abundance you seek.

We all are so deeply interconnected: we have no option but to love all. Be kind and do good for any one and that will be reflected. The ripples of the kind heart are the highest blessings of the universe.

Earlier this year I came up with the term flubbidy in an attempt to identify and label the complex swirl of thoughts and feels that so many of us are navigating in these turbulent times.
Well, the flubbidy has returned with a vengeance!
It luckily didn’t prevent me from tending to the many activities and adventures on my plate, but it did knock me a little farther off my game than usual. One day last week I was firing up two different groups with separate virtual presentations on the same day, and several times found myself wondering who the heck I was to be giving pep talks about “keeping it together during hard times” when I was just barely keeping things together myself. Ack!
In addition to those presentations, I had also challenged myself to whip up another quick video to add to our Covid Coping Peptalk Playlist. I was feeling stuck until inspiration landed in my inbox: a message from someone having a hard time with a few things. I instantly knew what I wanted to say to that particular person, and I was pretty sure others might need to hear it as well.
I didn’t have to wait long to find out whether the Hope Inside Chaos video would prove useful…you can watch it yourself and see: by the end of the 3 minutes, the message of support I had crafted for others was providing an instant lift to me!
As I wrap this up, I’m feeling a little less flubbidy and a little more like myself. If you’d like to feel better than you’ve been feeling, I invite you to activate your kind heart and see if lending a hand to a struggling soul might give you a lift, too.
P.S. Please consider forwarding this to someone else who might need a lift. Thanks.
