Every time you smile at someone,
it is an action of love, a gift to that person,
a beautiful thing.

Before you ever receive the
wonderful treasures of a happy life,
you must first give.
Give of yourself.
Be of service to others.
Only what you give can be multiplied back into your own life.
That is the law of the harvest, the law of the ten-fold return.
If you give nothing, even if it is multiplied, you receive nothing.

I was traveling this week and encountered a flight
attendant with the finest, most genuine smile I have ever seen.
I watched him interact with the other people on the flight and he
seemed to have a new, sincere smile for each person he greeted.
It was small, kind, and real!
I decided we should all practice our smiles this week.
I challenge you to make every interaction an opportunity
to rehearse the magnificent act of smiling.
Whether you’re asking a co-worker or classmate for a favor,
paying for your lunch at a restaurant, or simply arriving
home to family or roommates; I hope you can find your smile and
— USE IT!
And maybe send an email to the best smiler you know to say,
