Finish each day and be done with it.
You have done what you could;
some blunders and absurdities have crept in;
forget them as soon as you can.
Tomorrow is a new day;
you shall begin it serenely
and with too high a spirit
to be encumbered with your own nonsense.
-Ralph Waldo Emerson, submitted by Jacquie M., Hazel Park, MI
As we sail through these last few days of 2003, I dare you
to practice these simple (yet not so easy) tasks:
1. honor your yesterdays without regret,
3. enjoy your todays without worry
2. anticipate your tomorrows without fear.
And may peace gently cover your little spot of the world.
