Ripples #1371: Pockets of Tranquility

PEBBLE

You owe it to everyone you love to find pockets of tranquility in your busy world.

BOULDER

It’s okay if you need time away from the noise and confusion, whatever that looks like for you. You need breaks so you can keep on showing up to your complicated but still beautiful life.

PONDER

As those of us in the U.S. & Canada wrap up our summer season with Labor Day weekend (thanks, Labor Movement!), this is traditionally one of the least-opened of our Monday emails…

So, if you happen to be one of the few folks who actually opens their Labor Day Ripples, I hope you’ll actively seek out some pockets of tranquility today.

Maybe it’s a shady bench in your neighborhood park, or a stretch of trail where the only soundtrack is birdsong. Perhaps it’s just sitting on the porch or in your favorite comfy chair for a few quiet minutes before the day gets too far along.

Wherever you find it, I hope you claim a little corner of calm today—and if you can’t find one, maybe you can create one.

Peace,
Paul
