Many of my peeps here in the U.S. are relaxing on this holiday weekend, celebrating the kickoff of summer and also the refreshing optimism around the hopeful direction of the “holy crap this has lasted a long time” pandemic.
So many of you have gone above and beyond over the last year and a half, sacrificing your safety and comfort in service to others. You deserve a break, and I hope you’re taking it!
While you’re at it, I hope you can acknowledge Memorial Day by taking a solemn moment to recognize the service and sacrifice of those who gave their lives while serving in the military.
