Once we believe in ourselves, we can risk curiosity, wonder, spontaneous delight, or any experience that reveals the human spirit.

There is a vitality, a life force, an energy, a quickening that is translated through you into action, and because there is only one of you in all of time, this expression is unique. And if you block it, it will never exist through any other medium and it will be lost. THE WORLD WILL NOT HAVE IT! It is not your business to determine how good it is nor how valuable nor how it compares with other expressions. It is your business to keep it yours clearly and directly, to keep the channel open.

I’ve wanted to share these quotes with you for some time, and yet I wasn’t sure what I wanted to say about them. As I sat down to assemble this week’s issue, I revisited these lovely words and it was questions that popped into my head instead of statements and sentences. So, here goes:
1. How much do you believe in your ability to pursue and achieve grand possibilities for yourself and others?
2. On a scale of 1 (low) to 10 (high) what number would you assign to your level of belief in yourself in this very moment of your life?
2. Can you identify any recent accomplishments you’re proud of, ones that you might not have pulled off if your score had been a few points lower (for example if your self belief score was a 5 instead of a 7)?
3. Is it possible to imagine any opportunities you could more confidently pursue if your self-belief score was even a little higher (so maybe an 8 instead of 7)?
My invitation for you is to spend time this week acknowledging and appreciating specific ways you’ve recently revealed your human spirit, and to be curious about how the future could unfold more expansively if you mentally rehearsed thoughts, feelings, and actions that would come along with a slightly elevated self-belief score.
Are you in?
