Ripples #844: Patience.

PEBBLE
Patience is the calm acceptance that things can happen in a different order than the one you had in mind.

BOULDER
Patience is not sitting and waiting, it is foreseeing. It is looking at the thorn and seeing the rose, looking at the night and seeing the day. Lovers are patient and know that the moon needs time to become full.

If there is anything in your work or life that isn’t resolving itself as quickly as you’d like, perhaps you can temporarily set aside your frustration and use the situation as an opportunity to practice patience. Take a deep breath (or two, or ten…), and know that sometimes it is best to set things aside to avoid spinning your wheels. You may be surprised at just how useful it can be to release and then revisit with a fresh perspective. It can work with projects, people, and even personal stuff!
Give it a try; and give it a chance.

P.S. What if I sent Ripples out two hours later than usual to see if you already have patience?
