Ripples #1400: Wise Enough to Ask
Mar 23, 2026
PEBBLE
I’m at my wisest when I know I’m not at my wisest.

BOULDER
I’m starting with the man in the mirror
I’m asking him to change his ways
And no message could have been any clearer
If you wanna make the world a better place
Take a look at yourself and then make a change

PONDER
Welcome to Ripples #1400!
It has been a tremendous honor to share pebbles, boulders and ponders with you for the past 1,400 Mondays. I’ve appreciated your quote submissions that allow these to be a truly collaborative experience, and I’ve read and savored every single one of the countless messages that Ripplers have sent in over the past three decades.
I’m planning to keep cranking these out for the forseeable future (Can we make it all the way to Ripples #2000? I hope so!), and I confess I was a little surprised when I recently realized that I cannot recall a single time I’ve attempted to check in with the entire Ripplesverse to hear what they like most about these weekly splashes. I’m curious to hear what you enjoy most, and I’m keen to learn what you think we should consider tweaking to make them even more Ripply. I wanna keep growing!
So here, my ripply friends, is the 2026 Survey of Ripplers. This simple Google Form should only take a few minutes to complete, and I plan to spend the next few months reviewing and pondering any and all feedback you care to share.
Today’s Pebble reminds me that I’m probably just wise enough to recognize that I’m not nearly wise enough to know what you like most and least about these weekly splashes. And besides causing me to start singing along, today’s Boulder affirms that I’m curious and eager to make our Ripples world an even better place.
Whether it’s been a few weeks, a few years, or a few decades, I hope you’ll consider investing a few minutes this week to share your feedback.
Are you in?
Peace,
Paul
P.S. It’s my understanding that Google Forms are pretty hardy and can handle a bunch of traffic at once, but I ask your patience if the page doesn’t load properly. If that happens, consider waiting a day or two and trying again. #uRock
